13 Spooky Halloween PAPERCRAFT Projects
with Hocus Pocus
Posted on 13 october, 2026

Hi everyone! With Halloween just around the corner, we thought it was the perfect time to share some spooky inspiration from our talented Creative Ambassadors.

We were absolutely blown away by the response to Hocus Pocus, our very first physical Halloween collection, which sold out on our website in a record 36 hours! If you managed to get your hands on it through us or one of our amazing stockists, we’ve gathered 13 fang-tastic projects to inspire your own Halloween crafting.

Debbi Tehrani | Hey Boo 8 x 8″ Layout
How adorable is this little pumpkin! 🎃 Debbi has had so much fun with the Hocus Pocus papers, cutting them into strips and adding rows of bold black stitching to create a fabulous patchwork effect. We love how she’s carried the Halloween scene right across the page too, and used the Hocus Pocus puffy stickers to add little sentiments and stars to highlight her main embellishment groups.

Davina Nugent | Boo Crew Shaker
This fun Boo Crew project is packed with texture and movement Just check it out here if you don’t believe us! Davina has layered Hocus Pocus ephemera inside and over the clear shaker, adding sequins, fibres and dimensional details before finishing it with a bow and a handmade beaded charm.

Nikki Basque | Happy Halloween 12×12″ Layout
We love the softer side of Halloween in this gorgeous layout by Nikki Basque! 🎃 The torn layers of Hocus Pocus papers create the perfect backdrop for this beautiful pumpkin patch photo, with florals, pumpkins and little pops of dimension framing it beautifully. We especially love the tags tucked behind the photo for adding some hidden journalling and memories.

Ashley Bright | Layered Stamp Embellishments
Such a clever way to use all those smaller embellishments! Ashley has created nine little postage stamp embellishments which you can see in detail here . She built each one on cardstock die-cut into a postage stamp shape, but you could easily recreate the idea using any shape you like. Each little cluster coordinates beautifully with the others, while still being a mini project all on its own.

Tammy Dale-Hodgson | Sweet Boo 12×12″ Layout
Tammy has turned circles of patterned paper into a fantastic feature on this layout, outlining them in black and connecting them with free-flowing stitched lines that seem quite mischievous…just like her Boo-ti-ful black cat! See the details in this layout up close by clicking here.

Alisha Malandrini | Spooktacular Tag Flip
Layers, layers and more layers! Alisha combines tags in different sizes with ephemera, ribbon and dimensional embellishments, allowing pieces to overlap and extend beyond the edges. A great reminder that tags can be mini canvases for using all those favourite little bits and pieces.

Larisa Hohman | Halloween Truck Card
Larisa builds a complete little Halloween scene around the this vintage truck diecut, layering the picket fence, moon, bats and pumpkins behind it for loads of depth. The orange gingham background keeps the design playful while letting the scene take centre stage.

Davina Nugent | Halloween Jelly Tote Album
How fun is this album ? Davina has transformed the lilac jelly tote into a wonderfully tactile Halloween mini album, loading it up with ribbons, pom-pom trim, tags, sequins and layered embellishments. There is something interesting peeking out from absolutely every angle. Click here to see the full album.….you won’t want to miss it!

Lissa Rees | Happy Halloween Card
Lissa shows how effective a few strong layers can be. The pastel plaid softens the black card base, while the oversized sentiment and little vampire-in-a-coffin make an instant focal point. A twist of baker’s twine and glittery stars finish it off the design.

Nikki Basque | 31 Happy Halloween 12×12″ Layout
Nikki has let the fabulous Hocus Pocus patterned paper do the talking, pairing it with a crisp white centre panel and just a handful of perfectly placed embellishments. Those torn edges remind us of mummy bandages! A bold title against all that white space shows that Halloween layouts don’t have to be busy to make an impact.

Larisa Hohman | October Mini Album
Full, fun and fabulously frilly! Larisa has packed this Halloween mini album with contrasting patterns, stitched details, tucked-in tags, paper clips, ribbons and trims, with the oversized October puffy sticker making a fabulous statement on the cover. There are so many little details to discover as you turn the pages. You can view each page of this stunning album here.

Tammy Dale-Hodgson | Wicked Wishes Card
Tammy creates fabulous dimension on this card by using foam adhesive to build the witch, moon and spiderweb into different layers. Varying the heights gives each element room to stand out, while adding depth and shadow that really brings the whole scene to life.

Debbi Tehrani | Too Cute to Spook 8×8″ Layout
How cute is this! We love how Debbi has brought a little extra spookiness to the Hocus Pocus papers with that bold black stitching. There’s so much to discover on this 8×8″ page, with the sweet photo still taking centre stage amongst all the Halloween fun.

A huge thank you to our amazing Creative Ambassadors for sharing all of these fang-tastic projects with us! We hope they’ve inspired a little Halloween crafting of your own.
