You will need:
• A4 paper or cardstock
• Scissors
• Stapler
• Small piece of felt or fabric
• Pinking Sheers
• Adhesive: double-sided tape, or glue
• Selection of embellishments and photos (we used our You Make My Day collection.)
These matchbox sewing kits make adorable happy mail for your friends, they’re the perfect wee gift for friends, so handy to tuck into your bag and have your very own travel sewing kit!
You can also use these to make tiny note books, put affirmations in for someone you care about or handmade vouchers booklets as gifts. Just substitute the fabric for as many sheets as your stapler can comfortably staple into them. We covered our staples with a banner on each matchbook.
Instructions:
Print the onto A4 paper or cardstock. Cut out the matchbooks, score along dotted lines and fold into matchbook shape.
Cut out 1 piece of felt, or several pieces of fabric (2-4 pieces of flannelette is ideal).
Place felt or fabric into the matchbook and fold the closure tab flap over, staple in place.
Decorate with embellishments, gemstones, whatever you like.
